Thomas Bocklenberg

• Lutenist Thomas Bocklenberg is a versatile musician, who as well as playing the lute is an accomplished guitarist, composer and arranger.
   
• As a lutenist, Thomas is much in demand both as a soloist and continuo player.  He is a versatile and sensitive performer on members of the lute family from renaissance lute to baroque theorbo.

• As a guitarist, his work ranges from session musician to baroque guitar recitals and performances of his own compositions.
   
• As a composer, Thomas has created solo, chamber and orchestral works and electronic music. 
   
• He is especially interested in exploring, in composition and performance, the juxtaposition and interaction between early and contemporary musical instruments and styles.
