Amanda Seaborn, studied the viol privately, first with Alison Crum, Professor of Viol at Trinity College of Music in London, and then with violist Peter Wendland, with whom she has performed extensively, and together now founded Musick's Recreation. Amanda has worked with chamber music ensembles and viol consorts in the UK and in Germany, where, as a longstanding member of the pioneering early music ensemble, "Odhecaton, Ensemble für Alte Musik, Köln”, she has performed widely in concerts and festivals and participated in many cd, radio, and television recordings. As well as her current projects with Musick's Recreation, Amanda is a member of the baroque ensemble Pellegrina.
