Maria Sanger

Maria Sanger, recorder, studied music at University College Cardiff.
Her interest in early music led her to Trinity College of Music, where she
studied recorder with Philip Thorby and undertook a postgraduate diploma.
This was followed by further postgraduate study.
In 2002 Maria was the recipient of the City Livery Prize. She also
performs with the Early Music ensemble Punchinello and has participated in
the Galway Early Music Festival as a member of Spirito.
