Tastes Reunited - Corelli and Contemporaries

A stimulating programme, reflecting musical multiculturalism in Europe in the 17 th and 18th centuries:- Corelli, Marais, Couperin, Barrière; the Italian and French styles united in German harpsichord music by Muffat and Froberger, who was musically "multilingual" and master of an amalgam of styles a century before Bach.
